UFO SIGHTINGS: Shock UFO Claims - Dozens Of UK Sightings In North East "Prove ALIENS Exist"?!

UFO investigators believe this offers solid proof of other life. Getty

March 6, 2016 -  UNITED KINGDOM - Analysis logged by skywatchers Mutual UFO Network (Mufon) show as many as 18 incidents have been documented in the region since January, last year.

The ground-breaking claim is made by Hartlepool based alien conspiracist Glen Richardson, who said the sightings offer solid proof that we are not alone.

He said: “I have been investigating incidents for around 20 years now, I get about five pictures and messages about UFOs from across the North East and UK every week.

“It may be true that nine times out of 10 there is a scientific explanation but some things you just cannot explain.

He added he is “very open minded” and believes there is life out there.
“Sightings like the ones recorded back that up.”

The UFO ‘investigator’ believes that within three decades alien life will be “a known fact”.

He said: “There is strong evidence fro life out there now and I predict in the next 30 years it will be a known fact.”

The sightings included a supposed “teleporting man” to “white glowing object” that changed direction in the blink of an eye.

Another spotter said they had seen a silent rocket.

Encounters have been traced all across the North East, from a spot on June 27, in County Durham of a circle-snapped orange light to a “strange object in the sky” on May 14 in Sunderland.

Mr Richardson added: “Some people fear ridicule, but there is no shame in trying to find the answers and I think the more people report the more investigations there will be and the more evidence will form.”

According to Mufon, a total of 476 extraterrestrial sightings have been made in the UK between January 2015 and February 2016. - Express.

CONTACT: Anybody Out There - Mysterious, Repeating Radio Bursts From Space Baffle Scientists?!

March 6, 2016 -  SPACE - Repeating bursts of mysterious radio waves from a galaxy far, far away have been detected by scientists who believe they come from an “extremely powerful object”.

Researchers at New York’s Cornell University, who published the paper in Nature on Wednesday, believe the origin of these fast radio bursts (FRBs), which last only milliseconds, cannot be an explosion in space as they are repeating.

"Whatever produces the FRB can’t be destroyed by the burst, because otherwise, what would produce the next pulse?" said Shami Chatterjee, a senior researcher at Cornell, who has also described their findings as having "broken this enigmatic phenomenon wide open".

Knowing that there are such FRBs raises further questions still, not only about the exact source of them, but also what is driving them.

The study found that “whatever battery drives FRBs, it can recharge in minutes”.

As these FRBs are being detected from very far away, they are "intrinsically very bright", which Cornell astronomy professor Ira Wasserman believes narrows down the source.

"Only a few astrophysical sources can produce bursts like this, and we think they are most likely neutron stars in other galaxies," Cordes theorizes, although the exact source will now have to be pinpointed.

Only 17 FRBs have ever been discovered, the first in 2007.

As they were isolated events, they were thought to be caused by cataclysmic incidents which destroyed the source, such as an exploding star or evaporating black hole.

Those who believe 'the truth is out there', or who are just a bit out there themselves, think the signals came from aliens. - RT.

EXOPOLITICAL DISCLOSURE/DECEPTION: Hillary Clinton's Campaign Manager John Podesta Seeks UFO Files - Says Clinton Will Try To Get To The Bottom Of The UFO Question!

John Podesta and Hillary Clinton.

March 6, 2016 -  UNITED STATES - Several U.S. presidents are on the record, talking about the UFO mystery. Former Presidents Jimmy Carter and Ronald Reagan say they had UFO sightings of their own, but the current presidential campaign might be the first in which UFO disclosure has been championed by a major party candidate.

During a recent campaign stop in Las Vegas, the campaign manager for Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton told Politics NOW co-host Steve Sebelius that Clinton will try to get to the bottom of the UFO question.

John Podesta has always been a strong advocate for declassification of government files in general and UFO files in particular.

“I think the American people can handle the truth about this,” he said.

As White House Chief of Staff for former President Bill Clinton, Podesta helped declassify hundreds of millions of documents. If there were UFO secrets being held somewhere, however, they eluded even the president.

Podesta returned to the White House as a special advisor to President Barack Obama. On the day he left the job, he sent out a Tweet saying his biggest disappointment was the failure to find and uncover the UFO files.

These days, Podesta has the ear of another potential president; he's running the campaign for Hillary Clinton. He made it clear to Sebelius that the UFO question has been discussed.

“I've talked to Hillary about that. It's a little bit of a cause of mine, which is, people really want to know what the government knows, and there are still classified files that could be declassified,” he said.

It wasn't an offhand remark. Podesta has encouraged journalists to ask his candidate about UFOs, and a few have done so. Mrs. Clinton told a New Hampshire newspaper that she intends to get to the bottom of the UFO mystery, thinks it is possible the planet may have been visited and would consider creating a task force to investigate Nevada's Area 51 military base. The base became a center of UFO attention more than 25 years ago because of reports that aired on KLAS-TV.

CNN characterized Mrs. Clinton's remarks as jokes, but Podesta makes it clear that he and his candidate are serious.

“I think I've convinced her that we need an effort to kind of go look at that and declassify as much as we can, so that people have their legitimate questions answered,” he said. “More attention and more discussion about unexplained aerial phenomena can happen without people who are in public life, who are serious about this, being ridiculed.”

The Clintons know first-hand how the UFO topic invites ridicule. Many people may remember the frequent tabloid headlines during the Clinton presidency with titles such as “Hillary Adopts Alien Baby” or “Space Alien Endorses Bill.”

More recently, conspiracy theorists have suggested there are UFO secrets hidden in Mrs. Clinton's private e-mails. It comes with the territory.
“I come in for my fair share of people asking questions about whether I am off my rocker, but I've been a long-time advocate of declassification of records,” Podesta said.

Huffington Post writer Lee Speigel has followed the UFO debate since the late 1970s. He notes that Podesta has been way out in front on UFO disclosure in speeches at places like the National Press Club.

“It's time to open the books," Podesta told the club.

“He ended one of his speeches by saying, not only could the public handle it, but we should do it because it's the law,” Speigel said.

In the mid-1990s, billionaire Laurence Rockefeller lobbied the Clintons to end UFO secrecy. Mrs. Clinton was photographed with Rockefeller while holding a book titled, “Are We Alone? The Implications of Discovery of ET Life.”

Bill Clinton has made public statements confirming that he tried to get to the bottom of UFO issues while in office.

“First thing I did is send people to Area 51 to see if there were any aliens there,” he told late night host Jimmy Kimmel.

The government's interest in UFOs officially ended with the closure of Project Blue Book in 1969, but suspicion remains that unexplained encounters involving national security are still being studied by someone.

Podesta suspects someone is holding on to a large cache of UFO files. Speigel says several whistleblowers have surfaced over the years, including the late lunar astronaut Dr. Edgar Mitchell, who say secrets are still being kept.

“There's military people coming forward now saying, ‘Yeah, the government never did stop investigating UFOs,’ and we need to own up to that,” Speigel said.

“We can see what's going on here in Nevada,” Podesta said.

Mrs. Clinton's rival for the Democratic nomination, U.S. Sen. Bernie Sanders, was also asked about UFOs. He said he is far more interested in issues that are more pressing for most Americans.

CONTACT: "Biosignature" Study Could Help Astronomers Detect Alien Life On Other Planets - New Research!

March 6, 2016 - SPACE - The search for aliens in faraway worlds could be made easier, with new research determining a way to establish the difference between life and the illusion of life. The study focuses on the importance of 'biosignatures' in the atmospheres of exoplanets.

Researchers from the University of Washington believe the evidence of oxygen – a biosignature – is key in the search for life outside our solar system.

But just because a planet has oxygen does not mean life is sustainable or present there. For example, Venus contains both oxygen and carbon dioxide, but its atmosphere is too hot and acidic to sustain life – so the oxygen is a 'false positive.'

Ruling out such false positives is essential for scientists searching for life, and the researchers claim they have a found a way to do so easily. That process hinges on the process of spectroscopy, the study of spectral features of light visible through a planet’s atmosphere when it transits or passes in front of its host star.

“We wanted to determine if there was something we could observe that gave away these ‘false positive’ cases among exoplanets,” lead author Edward Schwieterman, a doctoral student in astronomy, said in a statement. “We call them ‘biosignature impostors’ in the paper.

“The potential discovery of life beyond our solar system is of such a huge magnitude and consequence, we really need to be sure we’ve got it right – that when we interpret the light from these exoplanets we know exactly what we’re looking for, and what could fool us,” Schwieterman continued.

Previous research has found that some worlds can create oxygen 'abiotically,' or by non-living means. This is most likely in the case of planets orbiting low-mass stars, which are smaller and dimmer than our sun and the most common in the universe.

Building on that research, the study's authors were able to identify an abiotic method which occurred when a star's ultraviolet light splits apart from carbon dioxide molecules, freeing some of the oxygen atoms to form into O2, the type of oxygen present in Earth’s atmosphere.

But the key indicator that such oxygen may not indicate life was found when the researchers used computer modeling to determine that the process produces not only oxygen, but also significant and potentially detectable levels of carbon monoxide.

“So if we saw carbon dioxide and carbon monoxide together in the atmosphere of a rocky planet, we would know to be very suspicious that future oxygen detections would mean life,” Schwieterman said.

The researchers also found an indicator for abiotic oxygen resulting from starlight breaking down atmospheric water, allowing hydrogen to escape and leaving vast quantities of oxygen – more than Earth has ever had in its atmosphere.

Schwieterman noted that in such cases, oxygen molecules collide with each other frequently, producing short-lived pairs of oxygen molecules that become O4 molecules, with their own unique signature.

“Certain O4 features are potentially detectable in transit spectroscopy, and many more could be seen in reflected light,” Schwieterman said. “Seeing a large O4 signature could tip you off that this atmosphere has far too much oxygen to be biologically produced.”

“With these strategies in hand, we can more quickly move on to more promising targets that may have true oxygen biosignatures,” he continued.

Schwieterman and his colleagues believe the research will help scientists using the James Webb Telescope – set for launch in 2018 – study the possibility of life on exoplanets.

The research, funded by the NASA Astrobiology Institute, was published in Astrophysical Journal Letters. - RT.

UFO INCIDENTS: Bizarre UFO Sighting Over A Nuclear Missile Base - "Gagged" Ex-MoD Cop Who "Saw UFO At Greenham Common" Breaks Nearly 30-Year Silence!

The whistleblower says he has kept quite for 27 years until the "identical" sighting.  GETTY

March 6, 2016 -  ENGLAND - The whistleblower, who has not been named amid fears he could be accused of breaching the Official Secrets Act, came forward after a recent sighting of what he described as an identical UFO.

The man, now aged in his 70s, came forward after Vanessa Cloete revealed a picture she took of an alleged UFO hovering over the Charnham Park area of Hungerford in Berkshire.

The ex-officer claimed he and a colleague witnessed the same type of object fly down towards them above Greenham Common nuclear missile silos one night in the late 1980s.

Greenham Common, famous for its anti-nuclear protests, was used by the RAF and US Army Air Force, but it closed in 1993 after the Cold War.

The man claims he was made to sign the Official Secrets Act and told never to discuss the event and a US "Men in Black" suited officer swore them to secrecy.

The UFO snapped by Vanessa Cloete last year that caused the whistleblower to break cover

He said: “It looked exactly the same as the photograph in the paper.

“I want the people in Hungerford and Lambourn who saw it to know they’re not alone and that someone believes them.”

Ms Cloete snapped several pictures of the UFO above her home last June.

Other people have since reported sightings of what has become knows as the Hungerford UFO.

But the retired officer is the only ex-offoicial to step forward.

He added: “I was on patrol near the missile silos with a colleague when we tried to fill up with fuel from the pumps.

“They suddenly failed for no apparent reason and then we saw it – just like the photograph, a big, glowing ballbearing with a halo round it.

“It swooped down and my colleague said: ‘What the hell is that?’

“I know what aircraft and balloons look like. It was neither.

“It was just floating above the runway.”

He claimed it sped off at an “impossible speed” and they later informed the control room.

He said next day he was grilled by top brass in the presence of a black-suited American and warned never to mention it.

He added: “It’s been on my mind ever since and the photograph brought it all back.”

regardless of what he saw, the image snapped last year was investigated by the world's biggest UFO research organisation.

The Mutual UFO Network (MUFON), however, concluded it was likely an out of focus photograph of the planet Venus, which is often seen very bright with the naked eye.

MUFON provided similar examples of strange coloured orbs that were the result of blurred images of Venus. - Express.

UFO SIGHTINGS: UFO Spotted Flying Over Newmains, North Lanarkshire, Scotland - December, 2015!

CGI image of a UFO.

March 6, 2016 -  SCOTLAND - A Newmains man recorded an apparent UFO sighting last year.
Eric Cunningham posted in December 2015 that an unidentified flying object which was black underneath, and reflected a grey/blueish colour on the top side of the surface.

There have been six reported sightings of UFO’s reported over Lanarkshire since January last year and all sighting were uploaded to the Mutual UFO website.

The website allows users to post online if they believe they have witnessed an unidentified flying object and log their sightings.

Reports are then recorded with many users posting pictures of the UFO’s.

Mr Cunningham posted on the website that after he went outside his friends house on the afternoon of Deceember 10, he spotted the strange object.

He posted: “My attention was drawn to what I first thought was a large binliner or large bird, moving through the sky just to the right of the house.

“As I watched this object, it tilted at a 90 degree angle and moved forwards. Each time it did this I could see that it was black in colour underneath and grey to blueish on the upper surface.

“Although I was still thinking this was some sort of large plastic bag, I could tell that the object wasn’t being blown about in an erratic manner and was travelling in a direct course and pattern.

“It seemed to me that whilst moving, it was flipping and trying to rebalance itself against the upper head winds that were present, although there wasn’t any ground winds.

“I watched this for two to four minutes until it faded in the clouds and out of view.

“I shouted for my friend to come and see what I could see but unfortunately by the time he had arrived – and because of the clouds – he was unable to observe this.” - Daily Record.

EXOPOLITICAL DISCLOSURE/DECEPTION: Best UFO Cases - CIA Highlights Old UFO Files Prior To New X-Files Episodes?!

UFO over England in 1962.

March 6, 2016 -  UNITED STATES - The CIA chose to take advantage of the fervor created by the new X-Files episodes by posting two UFO articles highlighting their best UFO cases, skeptical reports, a few UFO pictures and a report on “How To Investigate a Flying Saucer.”  Although most media outlets are reporting that these files have been newly released, that is not the case. And, although the CIA says they released the files in 1978, they are not mentioning that they did not give them up easily. It actually took a legal battle.

The articles were posted on January 21, 2016, three days prior to the premiere of the new X-Files episodes and in the middle of the online frenzy of excitement that was taking place in anticipation of the new shows.  It was a great move to bring attention to their website, because the media has ran with the story, even though most are misreporting it.

UFO conspiracy theorists have been accusing the CIA of a major cover up involving the evidence of ET life from the public.

Frustratingly, many mainstream reporters seem to think they can leave their journalistic integrity at the door when it comes to UFO stories. Even though the introductory paragraph of the first CIA UFO files article clearly states: “The CIA declassified hundreds of documents in 1978 detailing the Agency’s investigations into Unidentified Flying Objects (UFOs),” many articles claim the files were newly released.

However, the CIA is itself being a little dodgy when they simply state they declassified the documents in 1978. In actuality, the CIA denied having any files before finally being forced to release over 800 files after being sued by UFO researchers. But, hey, now the files are out, and after nearly 40 years the CIA is letting bygones be bygones and embracing their UFO heritage – in a great way I might add. The articles are an unexpected delight.

How To Investigate a Flying Saucer begins with what is considered one of the best UFO cases on file. The UFO was reported by police officer Lonnie Zamora of Socorro, New Mexico. While chasing a speeder outside of town, Zamora heard a loud roar. Fearing a local dynamite shack exploded, he diverted his course to go take a look.

Lonnie Zamora (center) with investigators. (Credit: CIA)

When he got to the area of the shack, he saw smoke in the distance. After coming over a ridge, he noticed that the smoke was coming from a shiny object in the desert. At first, he thought it was a car, but as he got closer he noticed it was an egg shaped object. The object then took off and zoomed over him.

The case was investigated by the U.S. Air Force as part of the official UFO investigation known as Project Blue Book and determined to be legitimate. Blue Book chief Hector Quintanilla, a UFO skeptic, said it was “the best-documented case on record.” The CIA article notes that the case remains unsolved.

The article then goes on to give 10 tips when investigating a “Flying Saucer.” One of the tips even includes a spectacular picture taken in New Jersey in 1952, which investigators could not explain. The articles notes that the investigative panel believed “that if a controlled experiment was conducted, a terrestrial explanation for the sighting would be confirmed.”

But it wasn’t, and they didn’t.

The second article highlights some of the files the X-Files character Agent Fox Mulder (the believer) would “love to get his hands on,” and files that the character Agent Dana Scully (the skeptic) would appreciate. Included in this article are some interesting pictures, without much explanation.

Pictures added to CIA UFO article without much explanation. (Credit: CIA)

It is interesting to note, that according to insiders, Gillian Anderson, the actress who plays Agent Scully, is more open to the idea of UFOs and the paranormal than her counterpart David Duchovney, who plays Mulder, but I digress.

Agents Scully and Mulder.

The skeptical articles are boring, but the others are pretty cool. They include some interesting UFO cases. However, my favorite of the bunch is one titled, “Survey of Flying Saucer Reports, 1 August 1952.” This report states that the Air Technical Intelligence Center (ATIC) at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Ohio examined 1000 to 2000 UFO reports. They say many of them turned out to be misidentifications of mundane objects, such as clouds, meteorites, aircraft, etc.

It continues to claim that there were less than 100 “reasonably credible” reports that remained “unexplainable.” The report speculates that if more information was available that these remaining few could probably be explained as well.

Point 2 is the first really good one. It states:
Notwithstanding the foregoing tentative facts, so long as a series of reports remains ‘unexplainable’ (interplanetary aspects and alien origins not being thoroughly excluded from consideration) caution requires that intelligence continue coverage of the subject.
That would probably pique Agent Mulder’s interest. It piques mine. However, point 3 is also very interesting. It states:
It is recommended that CIA surveillance of the subject matter, in coordination with proper authorities of primary operational concern at ATIC, be continued. It is strongly urged, however, that no indication of CIA interest or concern reach the press or public, in view of their probable alarmist tendencies to accept such interest as ‘confirmatory’ of the soundness of ‘unpublished facts’ in the hands of the U.S. Government.
Points 2 and 3 from the Survey of Flying Saucer Reports, 1 August 1952. (Credit: CIA)

Apparently, I am not the only one who finds these articles interesting, the media has been buzzing with stories about these files. It would be nice if more of the mainstream media got the story straight, but it is great the CIA has highlighted some of these very interesting UFO files in a – mostly – straightforward manner. That has not always been the case with CIA UFO reports. - Open Minds.

March 6, 2016 - UNITED STATES -  The following constitutes several of the latest reports of UFO sightings, courtesy of the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON).

Omaha police officer has triangle UFO encounter

A Nebraska police officer in Omaha reported watching a slow-moving triangle UFO under 500 feet above a local Walmart store, according to testimony in Case 74492 from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.

The police officer was patrolling the area near Walmart and looked up and saw the triangle-shaped craft at 5:38 p.m. on January 13, 2016.

“When I first saw the craft I knew right off what it was,” the witness stated. “The object was bright having only three lights.”

The sighting happened rather quickly under partly cloudy skies.

“It moved slowly for about several seconds and then just disappeared. My actions were – I motioned the people to drive from the stop sign. I couldn’t believe what I was seeing and last, I kept my eyes on the object. The triangle craft just vanished in the night sky.”

The witness included two sketches with the report, which was filed on February 23, 2016. Nebraska MUFON Field Investigator Frederick Zewe is investigating.

Minnesota witness videotapes recurring UFO

A Minnesota witness in Aitkin County reported seeing the same UFO every night and offered video as evidence, according to testimony in Case 50785 from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.

In the investigation report, the object is described by the witness as hovering, descending, blinking and pulsing with an apparent size larger than a basketball if held at arm’s length. The object appeared to be at an altitude higher than 500 feet and at a distance of more than one mile.

Aitkin County, MN, has a population of 16,202.

NJ witness stops 40 feet from hovering triangle UFO

A New Jersey witness at Jobstown reported an encounter with a hovering, triangle-shaped UFO sitting just above the tree line near a military base, according to testimony in Case 74437 from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.

The witness was driving home from a nearby campus at 8:30 p.m. on February 12, 2016, traveling along a back road above five miles from a military base.

“In the sky I saw three bright lights to my left, overtop of the trees that line the side of the road next to a farm,” the witness stated.“I approached going about 45 mph. I thought it was weird how low that plane seemed to be, but I thought somehow it must be off in the distance. I realized this couldn’t be because the three lights were too large.”

As the witness approached closer, he realized that the object was right above the tree line and did not appear to be moving – just hovering in its place.

“I started to slow to a halt, as this was a back road and I was the only car on the road. I stopped at the bottom of the local farm’s driveway, at the most only 40 feet away from the flying object. I was scared for a second because I knew they saw me, and they knew I was slowing down to get a better look.”

The witness got a good look at the object.

“Through the tree line, I tried to identify the tail, which would have to be the back light, because the ship was facing the road at about a 45-degree angle, with the two bright lights on either side where I would have thought the wings would have been (triangular in shape) were facing toward me at an angle. It did not appear to be a normal plane, nor was it behaving like any plane I have ever heard of before.”
The sighting was very close to a military base.

“This was about five miles outside of Joint Base MDL, on the Fort Dix side of the base. Even though I live so close to the base, planes are not that common above this road, at least not directly above; the air fields are not on this side of the base.”

The witness attempted to get a photo of the object.

“This ship was about three to four stories off the ground, right above the tree line. I grabbed my phone to try and get a picture, but I started to turn around since I passed it slightly to get to the driveway, and I couldn’t turn and use my phone at the same time. In the minute it took me to turn around, I could still see the brightness cast from the three lights. This is a back road with no other lights, which is how I knew it was still there. As soon as I had fully turned around to see it straight on again, it was gone in a second.”
The witness did not see the object move away.

“I did not see it move or accelerate at any rate. It went from hovering in its place, to gone. I was in complete shock because I was still trying to convince myself that this was a small plane. I drove forward for maybe another 30 seconds before I stopped my car to search the sky. I saw faint lights way off in the distance. I searched the sky for any other lights to make sure that was it; it was cloudy tonight so I hadn’t seen any stars or other planes moment before viewing these lights. I knew that those three lights were the lights I was seeing off in the distance. It had to have been at least 2-3 miles away, but most likely a few more. I felt like it only sped off because I had stopped so close to it and it did not want to be observed.”

The witness wondered what he had just seen.

“I sat in my car for a few seconds still in disbelief, trying to come up with another explanation for what I saw, but I couldn’t. No plane, or military plane comes off base and decides to hover over a random line of trees; I’ve never seen the military run any tests over us before, and I’ve lived here for over eight years once my Dad retired as a high ranking officer from the military. The whole sighting lasted under five minutes, and once the lights were barely visible I turned back around and drove the quarter-mile home.”

The witness first reported the event to his father.

“I went straight in to find my Dad and ask him what that space ship could have been if it belonged to the military. He said maybe a drone, but it was the size of a small plane and hovered in the same spot for at least two minutes that I observed, but I have no idea how long it had been there before I came down the road.”

“The disc moved from southwest to the northeast over the western horizon. Shortly after another object the same size and shape, no wings, no trail, no sound was observed flying from east (Binghamton, NY) to the northwest, however, higher in the sky than the first object. Having observed thousands of flights going over this area in the last 30 years, I have never seen anything like this before.”

Triangle UFOs continue as one of the most-reported UFO shapes as filed with the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database. A scan of the past six months – August 1, 2015 – January 31, 2016, shows 450 triangle reports worldwide.

Reviewing only those cases closed by investigators and then only those closed as an unknown, the worldwide number narrows to 99. And 84 of those cases were U.S.

Now looking at just the U.S. 84 cases – they were filed from 32 states ranging from 1 to 8 cases per state. The totals were typical where more cases were reported from the higher-populated states. So Texas has 8 of those cases; Missouri, California and Ohio each have 7 cases; and Pennsylvania had 6 cases.

But one state stood out from the list – Iowa with 5 cases.

Comparing populations – Texas has 26.9 million people versus Iowa with 3.1 million. Statistically it’s more important that Iowa has 6 cases to the 8 Texas cases during this time period. The following is a review of those 6 Iowa cases.

An Iowa witness at Marengo reported watching a 75-foot-long, triangle-shaped UFO hovering 75 feet over a local cornfield, according to testimony in Case 69105.

The reporting witness was a passenger in a friend’s vehicle as they drove into Marengo about 10:20 p.m. on June 4, 2015, traveling north and approaching Highway 6 when they first saw “an extremely bright, glowing stationary” blue-white light in the western sky.

The two discussed what they thought the object was – including planes or towers – but soon drove closer to the object.

“We reached U.S. Highway 6, stopped at stop sign, and turned left (west) onto Highway 6 towards Marengo, and towards the object,” the witness stated. “It’s four miles to Marengo and our turn into town, going north, at the Ampride Gas Station.”

As the two drove, they rolled down the vehicle windows, slowed down to about 45mph, and never took their eyes off the hovering light.

“As we neared the object, it stayed stationary, approximately 25 feet off the highway from us, hovering over a cornfield which had not been planted yet – about 75 feet in the air. The object was triangular in shape, a solid black color, with crisscrossing, almost fluorescent-looking, bar-shaped lights all across the bottom of the entire craft, mainly white and bright blue.”

The two were in absolute shock. They turned right, off the highway and headed into town.

“We instead turned around in the Ampride drive to keep observing it. Just as we did that and were going to go back the way we came to keep watching it, it suddenly started moving slowly east. It looked huge, and it was just gone.”

They began driving into Marengo and turned to the right, looking east, to see if they could spot it.

“It was hovering four miles away near the highway intersection, exactly where we had turned west onto Highway 6. It went four miles in approximately two seconds.”

Marengo is a town in and the county seat of Iowa County, Iowa, population 2,528. Iowa MUFON Field Investigator David Kreiter and Assistant State Director Beverly Trout investigated and closed this case as an Unknown.

An Iowa witness at Altoona reported watching two objects the size of the moon that traveled 60 degrees across the horizon in one minute apart from each other in just three seconds, according to testimony in Case 68745.

The incident occurred at 9:10 p.m. on August 21, 2015, as the witness stood on a second story deck looking northeast and watched an airplane moving west to east. Assistant State Director Beverly Trout provides the narrative from the witness taken just minutes after the sighting.

“He then noticed a red mist-like object below the plane’s elevation, which was the apparent size of a full moon at 38-degrees elevation speeding from southeast to northwest. As it traveled, the object seemed to PHASE into red dots, and then midway in the 60-degree transit, was perceived as a transparent/translucent triangle with red lights, all of this taking place within an estimated three seconds.”

The witness then went into house and was back out on the deck within a minute or two, and at 9:11 or 9:12 p.m. – and a second object (or a re-run of the first object?) traveled the exact same flight path, going through the exact same “phasing” as the first object’s transit.

Altoona is a city in Polk County, Iowa, population 14,541. Trout closed the case as an Unknown.

An Iowa witness at Sioux City reported reported driving directly under a triangle-shaped UFO, according to testimony in Case 70578.

The witness was heading home southbound along Highway 75 at 8:06 p.m. on September 17, 2015, and noticed five lights in the sky before the Gordon Drive bridge.

“I thought, oh a helicopter,” the witness stated.

But the witness soon realized the object was larger than a plane in the sky.

“As I was going almost under bridge I was able to see under it. There was no other lights than the five in a straight line. It was shaped like a triangle. When I got out from under the bridge I had to double check what I saw. It was seriously bigger than an airplane. When I turned east, it disappeared.”

Sioux City is a city in Woodbury and Plymouth counties, population 82,684. Iowa MUFON State Director Gregory Anderson investigated this case and closed it as an Unknown.

An Iowa witness at Britt reported watching as many as 14 triangle UFOs hovering over a rural area during the Blood Moon beginning about 9:30 p.m. on September 27, 2015, according to testimony in Case 71566.

The reporting witness was visiting friends in Britt to watch the Blood Moon and was outside with a group of people along the northwest edge of town with open farm fiends to the north and west and the town to the east and south.

“Before the moon was almost completed covered, I noticed several flashes of light in front of the moon that resembled flashes from cameras going off at the same time,” the witness stated.“A few seconds later an object appeared from the east (which is the same direction we were looking at the moon). It was heading right for us and was approximately 100 yards above the tree tops. It didn’t look like an airplane.

For one thing it was absolutely silent. As it approached us we could see that it was triangular in shape with several white lights on the edge with one red and one green light flashing.”

But the group soon saw another UFO.

“As this first UFO was fast approaching us, a second identical triangular UFO appeared from nowhere just south of the first object and took off to the north at a high rate of speed toward the first object. We thought the second object was going to collide with the first object as the second one accelerated at a high rate of speed and just missed the first object by what seemed like inches. The first object then went right over our heads and the seven of us were able to tell that it was a solid, triangular shaped object. The first object then moved over the town of Britt and stopped about 5-6 miles out of town to the northwest where it hovered in place for a couple hours. The second object moved over the town of Britt and stopped about 5-6 miles out of town to the northeast and hovered in place for hours.”

Then a third UFO appeared.

“A third triangular UFO appeared from nowhere in the east and moved over Britt until it reached the hovering first object. Once it reached the first object, it hovered in place about 100 yards above the first object. The two objects hovered close to each other for awhile until the first object finally began moving to the west and eventually floated out of sight. The second object that was hovering 5-6 miles in the northeast part of town was joined by a fourth triangular object that showed up from nowhere and hovered near the second object. Between 9:30 p.m. and 2a.m. we counted at least 14 triangular UFOs appearing and hovering over and around Britt.”

The group also noted that they were unable to take photos of the UFOs.

“Only the fainter stars showed up – but the UFO didn’t.”

Britt is a city in Hancock County, Iowa, population 2,069. Iowa MUFON Field Investigator David Kreiter and Assistant State Director Beverly Trout investigated and closed this case as an Unknown.

An Iowa witness at Cedar Falls reported watching a triangle-shaped UFO that appeared translucent as it crossed the sky, according to testimony in Case 72695.

The event occurred about 9 p.m. on November 19, 2015, on a clear evening with no clouds and temperatures in the 30s.

“Went out to have a smoke and noticed a movement to my right peripheral side vision in the star-filled sky,” the witness stated. “Saw what appeared as a fuzzy outline of a V-formation or triangle craft directly above. Hard to discern it as it appeared slightly lighter than the dark background sky, fuzzy edges with a translucent appearance. Very difficult to see unless looking right at it. No lights, no sound and its glide path was to the south-southeast.”

The witness watched the object for 5-6 seconds before it faded from view.

“Speed looked like around 200 mph at say 3,000 feet altitude. Just a guess though as I could not tell its size. When first overhead it would have been the size of my hand at arm’s length. Object did not reflect from the moon that evening and for a lack of better words, and appeared to cloak itself somehow to the background.”

The witness had a cell phone but stated that there was not enough time to snap a photo.’

“I am knowledgeable in earth sciences and known aircraft and consider myself an amateur astronomer. It matched the dark sky so much, I doubt a photo would have shown it unless during the day. This object flew silently down/above main street in a city of 40,000 + citizens. Another UFO sighting page shows the same object about 20 minutes before in the community of Ames – approximately 70 miles away on the same evening. This at least gives my report a little more substance.”

Cedar Falls is a city in Black Hawk County, Iowa. Investigators Steve Junge and David Kreiter investigated and closed this case as an Unknown.

Mysterious UFO spotted over London caught on camera

March 6, 2016 -  ENGLAND - A couple were left stunned after they spotted what they believe was a UFO while in bed.

Terence MacDonell, 31, was with his girlfriend Natasha Samuels, 27, when they sighted the mysterious flying object over their home in Enfield, North London.

“When we looked closer, we realised it was actually a UFO,” said Terence, who works as a chef.

Terence claims he first saw the UFO around a year ago but dismissed it as a bright star.

But he noticed the bright light in the sky kept appearing at night and on closer inspection he has come to the conclusion that it's actually a UFO.

After several attempts to capture his sighting on camera, he finally snapped it and uploaded it to YouTube.

Terence added: “I’ve mentioned the UFO to my friends in the area and some of them say they’ve seen it as well.

“I’ve got friends as far away as Tottenham who’ve also seen it. It’s definitely an alien, because you can see a figure in the craft.” - The Sun.
